Hello fellow britannians, I did my best to try and post the event report as early as possible, but as always, life has some tricks up its sleeves to divert you from your goals! So, the due report is here! It is a very different report, for a very different evening Those caravans have a different taste each time... last time it had the taste of hard dirt I won't delay it any longer... here goes the report!
A magic power had prevented me from awaking in Britannia, but close to the caravan depart time, the foul magic was lifted and I could make it to the town of Yew. There I met Diomedes ([W]) but several other adventurers joined us rather quickly. It looked like a good start for an evening!
I waited a bit later than the scheduled time to allow everyone to join us. We soon were ready to go and I started a very short speech to remind everyone what was our destination of the day : the Town of Skara Brae!
Very surprisingly, there were no brigands in the surroundings unlike the other caravans. But one showed a moment before the caravan departed.
We then started our journey to the town of Skara Brae, still rather secure in the downtown of Yew.
As we were about to come out of the town of Yew, by the graveyard, a very nice surprise awaited us! I think we can thank Faith for this feat *smiles*
We continued our journey when the skirmishes started in the middle of the Caravan. Embryo who had "escorted" us so far started to pick some fights in our ranks.
It didn't took him much time to take down some of our bold defenders.
We regrouped around the fallen warriors to ressurect them, then went back on the road. But Embryo wasn't ready to let us go that easily
We kept being attacked and pestered by our one-man army! And he dealt some serious blows in our ranks.
And at some points he decided not to let us kill him... darn! Still there and kicking!
Despite the fact we were in a large number, Embryo timed his attacks rather well and delayed us quite a few times! Dropping some paralyze fields aswell.. sneaky brigands!
And once again we have to wait to ressurect the dead defenders before we can continue. He might have been alone, he did a pretty nice job at delaying us again and again!
Finally! Skara Brae has been sighted and the end of our journey is near. Even if we didn't had that much casualties (compared to the previous caravan at least...) it took us a good 45 minutes to reach our destination.
We all regrouped outside the docks in the town of Skara Brae for the word of the end, then all our defenders went back to their affairs. Thanks again to all the brave warriors who keep coming and defend the Caravan honor and prized possessions!!
A special thanks today will go to our red friend Embryo! Congratulations sir, you gave us a very fun and entertaining evening!
I hope to see you again on the next Caravan! |
